Drag Specialties have been working with a premium brake disc manufacturer in Italy to develop a range of rotors that represent a genuine improvement in performance over the oem items.
They are offering three different types – all TüV-approved – to meet three specific requirements, all three of which offer oem rotor thickness.
Top of the line, the flagship FTK Discs are long lasting, lightweight and are exclusively designed for maximum performance and fast cooling. An uncompromising design, these floating rotors have maximum material without scrimping on the essential airways needed to disperse the superheated gases generated under repeated heavy braking: ideal for the super heavyweight tourers, which often make the highest demands of their braking systems.
Slightly lighter – more vents but still the original thickness of stainless steel, the FT Discs are better-suited to streetbikes, where that weight reduction makes a positive contribution to suspension and handling.
And an unapologetic fixed disc for the ultimate workhorse: if you’ve seen something like this before, you’ve probably had the panniers off an older Electra Glide. Not the prettiest disc in the world, but precision-cut pure function and excellent value.
