If you’re going to lift the heads on your Milwaukee Eight – and Boz is going to be going into this in far more depth later this issue – you need to throw away the factory head bolts as soon as you’ve removed them because you’re not going to be putting them back: they do not return to their original unused state once removed. We’ve seen this sort of thing before with Buell head mounting bolts, among other things, and you have been warned.
What you replace them with is, is entirely down to you and your budget.

Fueling
