While trying to find more details on a Bobber Fender for Sportsters, we came across this, made by the same company, TXT.
Not so much a mudguard as a back end, that massive steel plate bolts onto the back of the central section of the frame once you’ve unbolted the original back end. No unpleasant hacksawing here, just a spanner and four bolts. And disconnecting the electrics, of course.
It’s designed for a 200-section rear tyre and is a solid little fella at nearly 5kg, although nobody is making any claims that you’ll be able to pop a pillion seat on it, but it’ll tidy up your Scout Bobber a treat.
