And while a so-called one step progressive spring is a significant improvement, it is still a compromise between comfort and safety, with the sudden change from soft-to-hard on poor examples being a disadvantage that can lead to “speed wobbles”.

But they reckon they’ve fixed it with what they are calling the “Link-System Curve Design”: an uncompromising construction where the spring is designed to satisfy all the demands of modern motorcycle technology. A sensitive initial part of the stroke with a smoothly increasing spring rate for safety and enough stiffness at the end of the stroke to soak up braking pressures.
