An old favourite in chopper circles, this clean, beautifully-made oil tank exists because its manufacturer was tired of searching for a reliable, oil-tight one, as well put-together inside as out.
There’s nothing like setting the bar high before you start, but the result is a precision made, sturdy steel 3-litre oil tank, made in Germany to strict specifications with meticulous TIG-welds and a machined surface for the spin-on oil filter.
It has a side filler, three mounting points – two on the top, one on 
the bottom – is 245mm wide, excluding the oil filter, with a 145mm diameter and weighs in at 2.17kg.
