We\u2019re seeing a lot of so-small-they\u2019re-invisible\u00a0indicators these days but what if you want to\u00a0make a statement?<\/p>\n
Few companies have made as many\u00a0statements over the years as Arlen Ness, so let\u2019s\u00a0let them do it again with these two new designs.<\/p>\n
Both feature 24 hi-intensity LEDs to get\u00a0the message across, nice and clear, but they\u2019re\u00a0behind smoked lenses for a clean, classic look.<\/p>\n
Then it\u2019s a matter of whether you\u2019re looking for ornate gothic or modern elegant, and in\u00a0contrast cut anodized black or in chrome.<\/p>\n
The Teardrop Turn Signal<\/strong> has something\u00a0of the flying buttress about it with the billet\u00a0aluminium carved away at the pointy end\u00a0\u2013 which is more obvious in the pics of the\u00a0contrast-cut anodised black finish \u2013 getting the\u00a0message across that these ain\u2019t your\u00a0typical bullets. They feature a 1-inch\u00a0diameter lens and I\u2019m going to take a punt on\u00a0the 1.5-inch dimension being front-to-back, because the stand-off doesn\u2019t look like half an\u00a0inch.<\/p>\nMeanwhile, the Bullet Fluted LED Turn\u00a0Signal<\/strong> measures an inch in diameter and is\u00a01 3\/8-inch from the mount to the nicely radiused top \u2026 or side, depending on how you\u2019re\u00a0mounting them.<\/p>\nBoth lights include a 5\/16 threaded stud, bored\u00a0for the wiring, and we are told that they are\u00a0dual filament \u2026 but not what that means. I\u00a0didn\u2019t think LEDs had any filament. If someone\u00a0knows, do tell us: we\u2019re intrigued \u2026 actually, we\u00a0think it\u2019s a typo.<\/p>\n
Both are supplied in pairs and it\u2019s safe to\u00a0assume in amber, not the US red option on\u00a0Ness\u2019s own site.<\/p>\n
