Actually that refers to wide bars with a narrow base at the clamps and a decent rise, and \u2018British\u2019 comes from the old English Brit twins handlebars\u2019 3-inch centres, and makes a surprising amount of difference to the look of a bike.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They are calling it sixties slim styling and these undimpled 1-inch bars are now available through W&W in Germany, manufactured by FORK in Japan for use on American bikes: who said globalisation is a bad thing?<\/p>\n

Of course, you do need to account for that handlebar spacing \u2013 3\u00bd-inch on Harley telescopics or 4\u00be on Springers \u2013 so you\u2019ll need one of FORK\u2019S handlebar risers.<\/p>\n
