There\u2019s no question that the new Softails eclipse anything that went before in terms of handling, that any oem shock can be improved upon or that a parked motorcycle looks cool when slammed. I would add to that list that and adjustable preload and rebound, and full control over your ride height at the push of a button is right up there!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>No strangers to air-rides, Platinum\u2019s new Bleed Feed Mono Shock Kit for 2018 provides that with a full 4-inches of height range thanks to a shock that extends from a slammed 276mm to \u2018full handling mode\u2019 at 327mm \u2013 and I\u2019m guessing that\u2019s shock length not eye-to-eye with the oem Heritage Classic and Fat Bob shocks being 333mm and this looking like a trail bike at full height.<\/p>\n

It is supplied as a full kit including compressor, air control valve, brackets, DOT-approved \u00bc\u201d lines and even a line cutter, but the main piece is the air cylinder itself, machined from 6061-T6 billet in gloss black powdercoat.<\/p>\n

Simpler, lower cost systems that don\u2019t include the rebound, but bearing in mind you you\u2019ve got a slammed custom shock for bike night and all the\u00a0 cornering clearance you need when the mood takes you, all in one shock, you do get a lot for your money.<\/p>\n
