There was a time when the first thing you did when you bought a used bike cheap was to take the screen off it \u2013 they had invariably been used as commuters and looked very unlovely, hence the price. They didn\u2019t look much better afterwards, to be fair, but that\u2019s why we learned how to use spanners.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now, however, windcheating bodywork is cool, whether they\u2019re bikini fairings, speed screens or fairings, partly because someone in North California reckoned that a pair of apehangers behind a fairing worked, and enough people agreed with them.<\/p>\n

Thankfully they look better than a Vetter.<\/p>\n
