Apologies to all those affected by my audacity in testing motorbikes in December: it was clear blue skies ’til I picked the Low Rider S up!
And yes, I do need a new air cleaner cover on the Shovel: the fake teardrop came with the bike – as did the HS40 behind it – and I’ve been blowing hot and cold between a Super-E and a CV ever since.
And I still need to cobble together a vibration-resistant tacho from a late model Sportster’s internals and the earlier case, once I’ve grafted the earlier needle onto the later mechanism, but … well, you know how these things go.
