There wasn’t any sense in attempting a proper head-to-head between the 2017 Indian Roadmaster and the 2002 Indian Roadmaster that The Hogfather Motorcycles has recently brought into the UK in a batch of imports, because these two machines have little in common other than the name and some styling elements.
It was good, however, to see the PowerPlus100 and the Thunder Stroke 111 side-by-side, because it gives a lot of insight into why it has taken a business with the engineering capability and balance sheet of Polaris to put the Indian brand back on the map.
