When Harley reintroduced the Low Rider back in 2014, they made a feature of its one-size fits all adjustable nature. Sadly it ruined a perfectly good motorcycle and undermined the whole “fit shop” idea for dealerships, but their heart was in the right place. It was less silly than the Deluxe which feels like a short-reach bike to a six-footer – well, the original one did: we haven’t seen never mind ridden the new one – but was never sold as such, but hey?
At the other end of the scale, while short-reach seats offer a way in for shorter riders, there is still work to do in accommodating shorter riders. This forward control conversion kit repositions the existing forward controls, bringing them back and up by about an inch closer to the rider, adding comfort and confidence, and re-uses the forward control supports, foot pegs and brake & shift levers.
Better still, they include heavy-duty steel mounts, shortened brake rod and all other required hardware. Now available at your Zodiac dealer, starting at £151.00
