Halvarssons continue to move with the times, embracing new styles and continuing to develop an interesting retro range in their leather jackets – or, in this case, supple goat skin.
While they are perhaps best known for their high performance technical textiles in the adventure sport market, they have done a lot of work in bringing new technologies to traditional materials, making them stronger, better and often lighter.
These two new styles for 2019 are both CE ‘AA’-certified, which is a level higher then you would expect from what look like casual jackets – Touring rather than Urban – incorporating lightweight technical materials at areas of high abrasion rather than doubling up on the leather, impacting on the jackets’ bulk and weight, and backing that up with level 1 protectors.
Both the Dresden (left) and the Trenton (right) can be connected to compatible pants, or jeans using a ‘waist zip’.
