Except in exceptional circumstances – which will be made absolutely clear at the point of data collection – Hornblower Publishing does not share any personal data with other businesses or individuals, except as required in the distribution of the magazines that it publishes, at which time all possible measures are taken to ensure secure, encrypted transfer of such information.
Any person on whom we hold data is entitled to view it – it will be their name, address, email address and/or their telephone number, plus any information pertaining to the delivery of their magazine subscription – and when that subscription has elapsed, they have the right for that data to be forgotten, once all legal requirements relating to accounting functions have been met.
We do not store credit card details nor do we share financial details with any 3rd parties.
PAYMENT AND DELIVERY POLICY
We endeavour to process all transactions relating to back issues or other stock items within three working days, or from the next available issue of American-V when taking out a subscription unless otherwise directed. Delivery is by Royal Mail, second class post.
REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event that we are unable to depatch stock items within seven days, you will be entitled to a full refund.
Due to the nature of magazines, returns are not accepted and we would ask that you take all precautions to make sure that you order to the correct issue: the full contents list as printed in the magazine is shown in the on-line shop, accessed by clicking on the cover, to help reduce these to a minimum. In the event that the wrong edition was supplied, a replacement copy will sent.
From the date of publishing recommencing – September 2018 – the non-arrival of subscription copies needs to be referred to the subscriptions hotline number, 0333 939 8116, and we will look into it.
With the exception of the transfer of the title between publishers there should be no reason why the magazine would run more than one week outside its published schedule, but we can make no promises for the ability of the postal service to deliver. We will do everything we can to get issues to subscribers ahead of the date that magazines hit the newsstands.
We will deal with any mid-term subscription cancellations on an individual basis: we haven’t had one yet, although we are aware of some subscribers cancelling them with the previous publisher, Positive Media, as they were no longer in a position to deliver.
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES 2018:
Any outstanding subscription gifts will be supplied once we have determined how many were not supplied by Positive Media, and can replenish stocks one last time with the promoted T-shirt design before we change to a new one: all subscribers will be given a choice of the old or the new one.
